He was predeceased by: his parents, James Carter and Violet Oldham Wallace Sr. Carter; his wife Doris Royal Wallace; his daughter Jacki Ann Wallace; and his siblings, James Wallace Jr., J. O. Wallace and Sylvia Wallace.

He is survived by: his son Don Wallace. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
