She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph "Joe" Pankratz and Marie Francis Listvan Pankratz; and her husband Jerrah "Doc" Heard. She is survived by: her daughter Stacy (Troy Morris) of New Braunfels; her grandchild Blake Melde (Valerie); her great grandchildren, Lilli, Avery and Blake; her grandson Brady Melde (Madison); her great grandchild Grayson; her grandchild Koby Morris (Megan); her great grandchildren, Hudson and Addison; her sister JoAnn Stiles of Comfort; her son David M. "Trey" Stiles III (Ruth Ann) of Houston; and her grandsons, David M. Stiles IV and Joseph Stiles.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be given in her memory to the Comfort Heritage Foundation, Comfort Public Library, Golden Age Center, or a charity of your choice.
