Amy Marie Stevens Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Amy Marie Stevens of Comfort, Texas, who passed away on March 28, 2022, at the age of 32, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Tresa Ann Stevens (Barnard) and Paul Douglas Stevens; her brother Daniel; her sister-in-law Kayla Stevens; her sister Keri; her brother-in-law Steven Perrone; her nieces and nephews, Trinity, Madison, Weston and Mavrick; and her grandparents, Mary Stevens, George, Bonnie Barnard and Jim Stevens. She was also cherished by other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Crohn's disease ultimately created the conditions for cancer to grow and in 2020, amidst a world-wide pandemic, Amy was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer. Amy's fight with cancer was an intensely private experience, due to the nature of the disease and the pandemic.
