She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie Dietert and Helen Dietert (Ohlendorf); her spouse Glen Dale Porter; her brother Milton Dietert (Diane); and her son-in-law Kenny Richardson.
She is survived by: her children, Glenda (Mark Switzer), Donna (Randall Huffman) and Brian (Karen Porter); her grandchildren, Mason Switzer, Claire McKnight (Clayton), Leah Richardson, Reid Richardson (Sarah), Laura Richardson, Benjamin Porter, Dylan Huffman and Blake Huffman; her great grandchildren, Hayes Switzer, Cutter McKnight, Cross McKnight and Crockett McKnight; her siblings, Lloyd Dietert (Sandi) and Ann Dietert; and her close friend Tom Petronella. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations be made to the Cure Alzheimer's Fund, the Bellville Hospital Foundation, or the Bellville Public Library.
