He was predeceased by: his parents, Bentura Becerra and Juana Ruiz Becerra; his son Ventura Becerra; his siblings, Macario Becerra, Isabel Becerra, Oscar Becerra and Severa Becerra; and his son-in-law Rudy Lopez.
He is survived by: his wife Maria Trevino Becerra; his children, Roberto Becerra Jr., Manuel Becerra (Carina Gomez), Belinda Becerra (Gilbert Ortiz), Ruben Becerra (Marcela Cantu), Juana Maria Becerra (Miguel Navarro) and Dora Alicia Martinez (Rogelio); his grandchildren, Gavin, Ethan, Leylah, Austin, Lizbeth, Maliya, Sofia, Emilia, Mario, Miguel, Rudy, Alanah, Amariah, Azariah and Erika; and his siblings, Jose Becerra, Veronica Torres, Bernabe Cervantes, Anastacio Becerra and Jorge Becerra. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Trinity Funeral Chapel (1002 E Harrison Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550). A rosary was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Queen of Peace Catholic Church (1509 New Combes Hwy, Harlingen, TX 78586). A burial was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Ashland Memorial Park Cemetery (21037 Godwin Rd, Harlingen, TX 78550).
