It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Talamantez (Comanche, Texas), who passed away on March 4, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Rodolfo Talamantez; her son Ruben Talamantez; her parents, Eustacio Reyes and Virginia Reyes; and her siblings, Margarita Faz Reyes, Esteban Reyes, Rodolfo Reyes, Eustacio Reyes, Manuel Reyes and Armando Reyes.
She is survived by: her children, Ray Talamantez and Nelia Vara; her great grandchild Nico; and her grandchildren, Paula Reyes, Elsira Reyes, Rosa Reyes and Armandina Reyes. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Comanche Funeral Home Chapel (411 W Grand Ave, Comanche, TX 76442). A rosary will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (1206 N Pearl St, Comanche, TX 76442).
