He was predeceased by: his parents, Clint Welch and Georgia Welch (Warren); and his brothers, Kenneth "Slim" Welch (Alma), Kellis Welch (Elsie Jo) and Jerry Welch (Geraldine).

He is survived by: his wife Florence Jo; his children, Travis Welch (Patsy) of Comanche and Judy Welch of Comanche; his grandchildren, Heath Welch (Demrie) of Dallas, Clint Welch (Carrey) of Comanche, Cody Johnston of Comanche, Kyla Welch Marshall (Neil) of Dallas and Jake Kennedy of Comanche; his great grandchildren, Caleb, Madelynn, Branden, Hudson, Guy, Hope, Quinn, Cooper, Ashlyn, Briggs, William and Anthony; his great great grandchild Josiah; his brother Jackie Welch (Patsy) of Arlington; and his pet Suzy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
