He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny A. Davis and Ruby Opal (Morgan); his wife Jo Nell Davis (Payne); and his sister Nelda Faye Ford (Davis). He is survived by: his children, D. W. Davis, Sr. (Teresa) of Comanche, Les Davis (Laura) of Round Rock, Texas and Patsy Adele Davis of Guthrie, Oklahoma; his brother Billy Joe Davis of Early, Texas; his grandchildren, Dudley Davis, Jr., Zachary Tucker Davis, Joshua Cameron Canterbury, James Dale Canterbury, Cristie Nicole Maker, John Hayden Davis, Hunter Scott Davis, Kara Nichole Callan, Cruz Gonzalez and Toshi Gonzalez; and his great grandchildren, Braxton Peters Davis, Lanyne Alyece Davis, Wyatt Cole Canterbury, Lailey Love Canterbury, Sidney Leigh Canterbury and Catherine Nicole Frank.
