He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Spivey and Johnnie Annett Spivey (Reese); his wife Maxine Spivey; and his sister Audi Schlee. He is survived by: his children, Cecil Dell Spivey (Heather Spivey) of Comanche, Alicia Seay of Comanche, Jennifer Woodard of Comanche, Justin Spivey (Eva Spivey) of Comanche, John Spivey of Alabama, Gary Spivey (Serena) of Blanket, Lucretia Bowen (Troy Bowen) of Comanche, Tammie Laurents (Christopher) of Comanche, Charles Spivey of Comanche and Wesley Spivey of Comanche; and his siblings, Neddie Loudermilk of Comanche and Wesley Spivey of Gorman, B. B. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Comanche Funeral Home (411 W Grand Ave, Comanche, TX 76442). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Oakwood Cemetery.
