He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Elrod of Comanche and Bessie Carey Elrod; and his sister Joyce Pylant of Comanche. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Annora Wilson of Comanche; his children, Donna DeBusk of Comanche, Chad Elrod (Rachel) of Arlington, TX and Kim Swingle (Tommy) of Brownwood; his sister Jeannie Feist (Donald) of Comanche; his grandchildren, Nikki DeBusk (David Cunningham), Jarret DeBusk (Ashley), Adisyn Elrod and Aubry Elrod; his stepgrandson Ethan Jones; and his granddaughters, Heather Bondallian (Donn) and Delese Noble (Josh). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews, cousins.
