It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bill Bruce Lane (Comanche, Texas), who passed away on November 30, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Steve (Bruce) and Era Isham Lane; his wife Ann; his granddaughter Randi McGinnis; and his grandson-in-law Craig Artze.
He is survived by: his children, Buddy Lane of Gustine and Linda McGinnis (Tommy) of Comanche; his grandchildren, Andi Artze of Magnolia, Staci Murphy (Robert) of Gustine and Cody Lane (Chrissy) of Hamilton; and his great grandchildren, Faith Lynn Horn (Noah) of Lubbock, Hope McGinnis of Comanche, Ace Lane of Hamilton, Lane Artze of Magnolia, Laney Jo Lane of Hamilton, Morgan Murphy of Gustine, Ryan Murphy of Gustine and Hank Artze of Magnolia.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Comanche Funeral Home (411 W Grand Ave, Comanche, TX 76442). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Comanche Funeral Home Chapel (411 W Grand Ave, Comanche, TX 76442).
