He is survived by: his mother Julia Ann Henkes (Smith) of New Braunfels; his wife Brenda Henkes of Columbus; his children, Alayna Kutach (Jeremy) of Hallettsville, Ashtyn Henkes of Yoakum, Alexandra Henkes of College Station, Casie House of Waco and Jay House of Columbus; his grandchildren, Noah, Wyatt, Dawson, Graham, Autumn, Jarrin, Kyle and Macie; his mother-in-law Doris Gorman of Columbus; his brothers, Herman Henkes (Geana) of New Braunfels and Walter Todd Henkes (Jenny) of Riverside, CA; his brothers-in-law, Jack Gorman (Pat) of Angleton, Scott Gorman (Jackie) of Bay City and Brent Gorman (Patty) of Columbus; and his pets, Chase and Betsy Lou.
