As we bid adieu to Virginia Mary's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Virginia Mary has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Vornsand and Amelia Vornsand (Starustka); her husband Eugene "Gene" Herzik; her children, Joseph "Joe" Herzik (Tommie), Joan Poenitzsch (Robert "Bob") and Vivian Fortenberry (Dale); her granddaughter Marlene Bradford; and her pets, Snooky and Oscar Meyer. She was also cherished by her four children, as well as a multitude of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Henneke Funeral Home (1515 Montezuma St, Columbus, TX 78934). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be given to the charity of your choice.
