It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Victor Samuel Bedford of Columbus, Texas, born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on December 28, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bedford (Sam) and Mary Bedford (Montalbano); and also, Gus Blackstock Jr., Lloyd Blackstock, Grace Crawford, Elizabeth Molton and Judy Henthorn.

He is survived by: his wife Ruth Blackstock; his children, Victor Bedford, Jr. (Chris), Angela McHatton (Douglas) and Amy Peters (Chris); his siblings, Sylvester Bedford (Charlotte Tilotta) and Shirley Pitzer (Benny); and his half-siblings, Barbara Trask (Tom) and Jim Bedford (Belva). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Victor's honor to be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church P.O. Box 267 Columbus, Texas 78934; Colorado County Habitat for Humanity 602 Walnut Columbus, Texas 78934 or the charity of your choice.
