He was predeceased by: his parents, Verne John, Sr. and Marlene; his former wife Gilda; and his sister Patricia. He is survived by: his wife Claire; his children, Tre and Jami; his grandchildren, Gabriel, Madeleine and Elise; and his siblings, Marcia, Joy, Chris and Jackson.
