He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Beck (Bates); his granddaughter Brandi Kubos; his parents, Raymond Beck and Esther Beck (Heitert); and his sister Judy Reinert.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa (Earl "Butch" Adamson) of Cat Spring, Tammy (Steve Willett) of Corpus Christi, Vickie (Travis Maertz) of Mentz and Travis (Jennifer Beck) of Sheridan; his siblings-in-law, Jeannie Atkinson of Salem, Ronnie Prater of Salem and Bob Medlock of Sikeston; his grandchildren, Tiffany Adamson, Jessica (Tim Ricicar), Butch (Hilary Adamson), John Maertz, Shawn Bates, Brandi Lenininger, Tori (Tyrel Bohrer), Melissa (Jody Rowe), Ashely Willett and Jeanna Willett (Devin Wenkebach); and his great grandchildren, Brianne, Haegan, Kyndall Montemayor, Samuel, Ezra, Joanna Ricicar, Peyton, Wyatt Adamson, Orrin Bohrer, Gavin, Grayeson Rowe, Natalya Wenkebach, Richard LaCourse, Chris LaCourse and Wally Kulmack. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
