It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon Henry Hattermann (Columbus, Texas), who passed away on November 14, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hattermann and Henrietta; his sister Leona Balzer Lyons (Alice Hattermann); his brothers-in-law, Arnold Balzer and Clyde Lyons; and his son-in-law Mick Eckert.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Ann Baumbach; his niece Carolyn Howard (John) of Lago Vista, TX; his great-nieces, Janet Mandeville (Kurt) of Austin, TX, Sharon Eckert of Celina, TX and Cindy Cooper (Jim) of Cedar Park, TX.; his grandchildren, Jordan Higgins (Cody), Jared Eckert (Danielle), Morgan, Nathan Mandeville, Ali Cooper and David Cooper; his great grandchildren, Lawson, Riley, Hunter and Colt Higgins; and his close friend Jackie Marak-Bartosh of Weimar.
