It is with great sadness that we announce the death of LaVerne Mikulenka of Columbus, Texas, who passed away on June 21, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Chollett and Ida Chollett (Balzar); her husband James "Jimmie" Mikulenka; her sons, James "Rusty" Mikulenka and Gary Paul Mikulenka; and her nephew Denis Boethel.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Juanita "Nita" Mikulenka Boethel; her children, Sharon, Susan, Lynette and Delvin; her nephew Bobby Lowery; her caregiver Jimmie; her niece Blanche; her great-niece Tanya Mote of Parker; her nieces and nephews, David, Bernard, Jeanette, Betty, Doris, Denise, Diane, Carol, Kenny, Kathleen, Matthew, Ricky, Rosemary, John, Alan, Linda and Audrey; and her friend Laverne White of Bastrop.
