He is survived by: his children, Merlinda Compean of Maryland, Rashelle Ferrel Vasquez of Wharton, Frances Ann Ferrel of Columbus and Sammy Ferrel of Wharton; his siblings, Julia Jacquez, Pabla Ferrel Aguilar, Larry Ferrel and Benny Ferrel; and his grandchildren, Miranda Vasquez, Racquel Vasquez, Encenso Martinez Vasquez, Martha Rocha, Erica Ferrel, Ryan Ferrel, Jessie Compean, Jr., Rachel Chavez, Cecilia Compean, Carlos Compean, Dillion Ferrel, Gonzolo Ferrel, Jessica Robles, Christopher Robles, Steve Torres, Jr. and Stephanie Torres. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
