He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Howell and Daisy Howell; and his siblings, Armittie Threatt, Vivian Roberts and Richard Howell.
He is survived by: his former wife Katherine Untermeyer; his wife Katherine Howell of Columbus, TX; his sons, Daryl Howell (Gina) of Tilden, TX and Frank Howell (Evelyn) of Columbus, TX; his grandsons, Levi and Zane Howell; his sister Verdie Howell; his nephew James Howell (Robin); his stepgrandchildren, Lindsey Perez (Israel), Inda Hahn and Rick Hahn (Megan); and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Mason Hahn, Kaleb Hahn and Nolina Perez. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
