She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Hartmann and Elisabeth Hartmann (Seitz); her husband Monroe Ahlschlager; and her sister Elsbeth Samstag (Hans). She is survived by: her children, Darlene Ahlschlager of Columbus, Texas and Randy Ahlschlager (Cheryl) of Sinton, Texas; her granddaughter Chelsea Martinez of Austin, Texas; and her sister Ursula Karle (Willi) of Mannheim, Germany..
