He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Kunz and Lena Kunz; his wife Margaret Mozisek Kunz; his son Henry F. Kunz, Jr. of Columbus; his brother Bennie Kunz; and his great grandchild Halleigh Kunz.
He is survived by: his children, James H. Kunz (Linda) of Bryan, TX, Betty Cady (Gary) of Corpus Christi, TX, Delbert Kunz (Charlsie) of San Antonio, TX, Kathleen Weige of Columbus, TX and Debbie James (Gary) of Corpus Christi, TX; his sister Alice Peck Schultz of Weimar, TX; his sister-in-law Bessie Mozisek Dornak of Hallettsville, TX.; his grandchildren, Brian Kunz, Holly Thomas, Mindy Lange, Jared Kunz, Stacey Rhodes, April Fayette, Hal Kunz, June Schobel, Sara Cooper, Brandon Weige, Derek Weige and Charlie Cabanas; and his stepgranddaughters, Carol Anne Erdrich and Amanda Conrad.
