He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Garland Nelson, Sr. and Ruby Moore-Nelson; his siblings, Marshall Nelson and Sandra Ashton; his daughter Nickitta McDonald (Bryan) of Fort Worth; his siblings, Margaret Amos of Fort Worth, TX, Hazel Yates of Fort Worth, TX, Brenda Bennett of San Antonio, TX, Sharon Nelson of Houston, TX, Barbara Nelson of Houston, TX, Jeno Hargrove (Leo) of Columbus, TX and Winston Nelson (Keisha) of Ardmore, OK; his stepson James Parker, Sr.; and his grandchildren, Jalisa Christian of Houston, TX and James Parker, Jr.. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
