He was predeceased by: his siblings, Bernice Novella McCauley, Ed "Corky" Varley and Richard Wayburn Varley. He is survived by: his wife Betty Varley; his son Bernard Varley (Terri); his stepchildren, Patricia Gazzoli, Christina Baskin (Michael), Joyce Worbington (John) and Michael Baecker; and his siblings, Virginia Varley, Linda Newman (Bill) and Larry Varley (Darnell). He is also survived by ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
