He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Henry Zatopek and Norma Lee Zatopek (Vasut). He is survived by: his brothers, Ronnie Zatopek (Susie) and James Zatopek; his niece Rhonda Zatopek; his nephew Joseph Zatopek (Megan); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Brandon Stancik (Kinley), Blake Stancik, Alayne Stancik, Bryce Stancik, Addisyn Stancik, Ryann Zatopek, Del Zatopek and Charlotte Zatopek; his aunt Mary Ann Zatopek; and his uncle Adolph Zatopek. He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
