It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cleo Marie Shoemaker of Columbus, Texas, born in Palacios, Texas, who passed away on April 27, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Alpha Catherine Ryman and Benjamin Franklin Ryman; her children, Vernon, Nannie Mae, Lena, Pauline, Alta Fay, Norman, David, Marie, Patsy, Susie Shugart (Roger) of Brazoria, Bobby Shoemaker (Kim) of Belton and Donnie Shoemaker (Laird) of Lake Jackson; her grandchildren, Glen Shugart (Karen), Billywayne Shoemaker (Krisann), Charles Shugart and Lisa Shoemaker of Killeen; and also Lou Muslow of Marlin. She was also cherished by her great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Gulf Coast Rescue Squad of which they were charter members or the Wild Peach Fire Department.
