It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice Scheel Kahlden (Columbus, Texas), who passed away on September 11, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John F. Scheel and Lydia Scheel (Fritsch). She is survived by: her husband Allen "Cotton" Kahlden of Columbus; her children, Patti Parks (Mark) of New Ulm, TX and Thomas Kahlden (Patty) of Caldwell, TX; and her grandchildren, Sarah Parks and Kolby Kahlden.

Memorials may be given to St. Anthony Catholic Church or St. Anthony Catholic School Campaign Fund, P.O. Box 669, Columbus, TX 78934.
