He was predeceased by: his parents, Arno Brune and Alice Mae Brune; and his children, Shannon Leigh and Sean Arlen Brune. He is survived by: his wife Gracie Brune; his children, Sonja "Sunny" Brune (Will), Nichole "Sheree" Brune, Brad Kollaja (Erica) and Robert Kollaja (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Sean Brune-Herrera, Hunter Brune-Herrera (Sofia), Skyler Brune, Cassidy Brune, Jake Lauritsen (Melanie), Kutter, Kinlee, Kaden, Noah Kollaja and Kolten Kollaja; his great grandchildren, Ivy Brune, Bonnie and Connor Lauritsen; his brother Larry Brune (Helen); and his nieces and nephews, Tawanna Zajicek (David), Natalie Tiemann, Chad Brune (Jennifer) and Richard Brune.
