He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Smith; his children, Carlenna Jacobs (Bryan), Patrick Smith (Jean) and Amos Smith, III (Alma); his brother Billy Smith (Gloria); his grandchildren, Misty Jacobs, Jaclynn Darnell (Kevin), Lauren Smith, Jaelee Smith, Shelby Marler, Josh Berendsen (Kasey) and Brian Berendsen (Wendy); and his great grandchildren, Colby Berendsen, Brantley Darnell, Cooper Darnell, Caiden Berendsen, Britney Berendsen and Briana Berendsen.
