He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bittner and Cecilia Bittner (Leopold); his wife Bea; his siblings, Alois (Irene), Sylvester (Elsie), Walter, Herman, Bernard, Lawrence, Anthony, Lucille Till (Rudy), Johanna Kuntscher (Henry), Hildegard and Isabella Reinhart (Clarence); and his stepsiblings, Richard, Joseph and Clara.
He is survived by: his son Jeffery Dugie; and his caregivers, Jewel, Deidre, Dewayne, Dwight, Jimmy and Josephena "Chepa" Rodriguez. He is also survived by sister Rose Staff and numerous nephews and nieces.
