It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Scales (Colorado City, Texas), born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on November 15, 2019, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Wayne Scales and Lurline Scales (Hataway); and his father-in-law Benjamin Baker. He is survived by: his wife Christy Scales of Colorado City, TX; his children, Matthew Scales (Sarah) of El Paso, TX, Trey Scales (Chelsey) of Amarillo, TX, Lindsay Clark (David) of Merkel, TX, Krystal Coats (Roger) of Tahlequah, OK, Bryan Henley of Atlanta, TX and Michael Reese (Sheila) of Houma, LA; his siblings, Deborah Brown (Jeff) of Benton, LA, Tommy Scales (Kim) of Hemphill, TX and Sheila Nissen (Jay) of Greenwood, LA; his brother-in-law Sam Baker (Stephanie) of Atlanta, TX; and his mother-in-law Patricia Baker of Atlanta, TX. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
