He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Gamboa Sanchez and Hortencia Castillo Sanchez; his brother Robert Sanchez; his granddaughters, Zaylee Azzy Hernandez and Katelyn Brook Sanchez; and his niece Shelley Lopez.
He is survived by: his children, Joey Sanchez, Jr., Jonathan Sanchez, Johnny Lee Sanchez, Jeannie Sanchez and Jamie Lee Sanchez; and his siblings, Jesse Sanchez, Michael Sanchez, Daniel Sanchez, Dianna Sanchez, Rachael Sanchez, Amy Lopez and Gloria Sanchez. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
