It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Max Dean of Colmesneil, Texas, who passed away on June 8, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Dean and Oda Daniel Dean; and his siblings, Wayne Dean, Chris Franks, Betty Baskette and Lottie Temple.

He is survived by: his wife Vernie Dean of Colmesneil; his children, Richard Dean (Gail) of Greenville, SC, Larry Dean of Colmesneil, Stephen Dean of Port Arthur and Cynthia "Cindy" Brown (Denny) of Silsbee; his brother Jack Dean (Clara) of Colmesneil; and his grandchildren, Jody Dean, Max Dean, Jesse Dean (Iris), Dustin Dean, Stephanie Dean, Brandi Boyd and Starla Dean. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
