He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Thornton and Alberta Ivie Thornton; his brother James Thornton; and his daughter Suzanne Gentz. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Henry Thornton; his sister Sonja Albarado; and his children, Nicole Crawford (Jason), Amy Thornton (Geoffery), Christine Cauthen (Will), Douglas Thornton (Amy Nicole), Wade Henry (Wendy), Ashley Henry and Gaile Henry, III (Kelly). He is also survived by other family members and friends.
