With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie Spurlock of Colmesneil, Texas, who passed away on November 11, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilford Cheney and Eunice Irene Cowart Cheney; her husband Villa Dean Spurlock; her son-in-law Marty Olds; and her brothers, Merville Lee Cheney, Jimmy Cheney of Floyd Cheney, E. B, Sheffield and J. W. Cheney.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lena Gray of Colmesneil, Lisa Olds (Andrew Lawrence) of Colmesneil and Melinda Bryan (Jason) of Colmesneil; her brother Glenn Cheney (Kem) of Colmesneil; her siblings-in-law, Kathy Sheffield of Colmesneil, Joyce McKee of Warren and Elwood Spurlock (Anne) of Kirbyville; her grandchildren, Elijah Gray (Alina), Adrienne Medina (Jake), Samantha Andrews (Ryan), Elizabeth Rowinsky (Tanner) and Zachary Bryan (Alexis); and her great grandchildren, Kaden Medina, Gavin Andrews, Addie Medina, Harper Andrews, Liam Andrews, Sophie Rowinsky, Stetson Bryan, Blakely Bryan and Hayes Rowinsky. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
