He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie C. and Anna Belle Sutton; his brothers, Donnie Sutton and Darrell Sutton; and his great grandchild Micah Zumwalt.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Sutton of Colmesneil; his children, Kevin Sutton of Big Sandy, Darren Sutton of Houston, Deborah Zumwalt of Colmesneil and Donna Cornwall (Lewis) of Nacogdoches; his grandchildren, Benjamin Newman, Amanda Zumwalt, Emily Vermeulen, Bonnie Vermeulen, Noah-Beth Vermeulen and Asa Vermeulen (Jillian); and his great grandchildren, Teri Zumwalt, Matthew Zumwalt, Malachi Vermeulen, Maya Winland, William Vermeulen, Marley Vermeulen, Vivienne Vermeulen, Cypress Vermeulen and Fern Vermeulen.
