He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Yates and Jennie Yates; and his wives, Sherryl K. Yates and Bobbie D. Yates. He is survived by: his sister Mary Hawkins; and his stepsons, Tim Walton and Bob Walton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
