She was predeceased by: her parents, Mahlon Oliphant and Lela Oliphant; her husband Matterson Leroy Smith; her brothers, Sidney Oliphant and Ron Oliphant; and her son Jack Smith.
She is survived by: her siblings, John Oliphant of Colmesneil and Annette Roberts of New Caney; her grandchildren, Alan Smith of Dayton, Wenda Blackman of Caldwell and Dott Smith of Huntington; and her great grandchildren, Shoshana, Sarai, Kaiden, Kylie, Daniel and Ja'Lynn.
