With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bennie Joan Conner of Colmesneil, Texas, who passed away on June 16, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Claud Beal and Hannah Beal; her former husband Karl Crosby; her grandson Jared Ballard; her great grandchild Elliott Walters; and her siblings, Charles Beal and Emma Blackmon.

She is survived by: her husband Leonard Conner, Sr.; her children, John Michael Crosby (Peggy) of Colmesneil, Teresa Joan Whiteside (James) of Thicket, Karla Christine Ballard (James) of Winfield, Thomas Roy Crosby (Carolyn) of Woodville and Burtis Conner (Trina) of Colmesneil; her grandchildren, Shelly Crosby, Karl William Crosby, Rachelle Meche, James Allen Whiteside, Emilee Walters, Seth Ballard, Shane Ballard, Cheyenne Ballard, Cory Conner, Kayla Conner, Dane Conner, Aaron Conner, Cynthia Poston, Becky Conner and J. T. Conner; and her sisters, Marea Alferd and Dean Cain. She is also survived by great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
