She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton Weiss and Anna Weiss; her husband J. A. Benton; her son Dr. Jay Benton; and her brother Anthony Weiss.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Durham (Randy) of Woodville, Barbara Benton of Colmesneil and Ronald Benton of Margate, Florida; her grandchildren, Randy C. Durham (Heather) of Vassalboro and Erika A. Myers (Jeremy) of Woodville; and her great grandchildren, Madilyn Myers and Maddox Myers.
