Amanda Barrow Obituary

37, born June 21st, 1985 to her loving parents Jerry Barrow, Jr. and Melissa Allen in Jasper, Texas. A lifelong resident of Colmesneil, Texas where she graduated in 2003 and was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. She was called home on October 29th, 2022.

When she loved she loved endlessly, she was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, and friend.

She loved spending time with her amazing and beautiful daughter who she saw as her saving grace and miracle. And prided herself in being a big sister.

She is survived by her only child, Hanna Barrow of Colmesneil, TX; mother, Melissa Allen of Colmesneil, TX; father, Jerry Barrow and wife Monika of DeRidder, LA; grandparents, Jerry and Francis Barrow of Jasper, TX; brother Matthew and wife, Shandon of Colmesneil, TX; sister Myra and husband Will of Umatilla, FL; brother Tyler and wife Lakota of Colmesneil, TX; sister Carol and husband Richard of Rockland, TX; brother George and wife Amanda of DeRidder, LA; and, sister in law Brenda of DeRidder, LA. As well as, 4 nephews and 8 nieces.

She is preceded in death by her loving grandparents, Freddie and Jerry "Ninnie" Allen, Jr of Colmesneil, TX. Her brother, Steve Stoots, Uncle James Roy Barrow, and many aunts, uncles, and other family members.

There will be a viewing held on Friday, November 4th, from 5-9 PM at Mt. Caramel Baptist Church in Colmesneil, TX.

Services will be held Saturday, November 5th, at 12 PM at Davis Cemetery in Colmesneil, TX.

Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Woodville, Texas.
