He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Samantha Taylor; and his brother David Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Cannaday Murphy; his children, Missy Taylor and Shawn Murphy (Jean); his grandchildren, Lauren Craddock, Emily, Jake, Cassie Taylor, Lynn Murphy and Matthew Murphy; and his great grandchild Brooklyn Craddock.
