With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy McAllister (Collinsville, Texas), born in Seymour, Texas, who passed away on August 1, 2021 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, June Slack and Bessie Slack; her husband Garth A. McAllister; her son-in-law Glenn; and her siblings, Charles and Erma Price.
She is survived by: her children, Milton (Gail) of Sherman, Texas and Donna Puyear of Denton, Texas; her grandchildren, Missy McAllister Kerr (Martel), Casey McAllister, Christopher Puyear and Jason Puyear (Lauren); her great grandchildren, Samantha Kerr, Tyler McAllister, Gage McAllister, Lily Puyear and Hazel Puyear; and her great great grandchildren, Brielle, Chael, Mekhi, Maverik and Tate. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and a sister-in-law.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made in her honor to Ann's Haven Visiting Nurses Association, 325 W. McKinney St., Unit 101, Denton, Texas 76201.
