Carpenter (Newsom); her son-in-law Jon Carpenter of Whitesboro; her grandsons, Jon Caleb Carpenter of Austin and Joshua Andrew Carpenter of Denton; her parents, Cecil Walden and Susie Walden (Gann); and her siblings, Willie (Bell), Richard (Peggy), Junior (Myrtle), Jack (Patsy), Mary Alice Hewitt (Hudy) and Ray Walden. She was also cherished by her siblings and in laws, all nieces and nephews and cousins.
