With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Wanda Pyhtila of Colleyville, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Mathews and Mildred Mathews. She is survived by: her children, Eric Pyhtila (Brittany) and Christine Frost (Thomas); her grandchildren, Ethan, Elias and Nora; and her siblings, Timothy Mathews (Fran), Brenda Self (Donnie), Larry Mathews (Megan), Charlotte McConnell, Patricia Dixon (Stephen) and Helen Owens (Dan). She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Central Baptist Church (11791 East Corning Rd, Corning, NY 14830).
Wanda had a passion for the well being of children, in lieu of flowers donations can be made to St Jude's Children's Hospital.
