She was predeceased by: her parents, James Jackson (J. J.) and Effie Land; and her husband Gene. She is survived by: her children, Heidi Jean Allen (Robert) of Argyle and Garland Owen Allen of Keller; her grandchildren, Hailey Allen and Tate Roush; her siblings, Jo Ferguson of Houston and Bob Land of Georgetown; and her sister-in-law Sue Scoma of Colleyville. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home in Bluebonnet Hall (5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, TX 76034, USA). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
