He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Faialaga Faavai Magalei and Tuloto Pulu Magalei; his wife Bella Uale; his stepchildren, Benjalynn Magalogo (Wayne Magalogo) and Benjamin Magalei (Martha Magalei); his children, Solomina Magalei and Solomona Magalei Jr.; his grandchildren, Benjalynn Magalogo, Owen Magalogo, Tevita Magalei, Belynda Magalei Winger, Myndi Magalei Fonokalafi, Shalysa Crabtree, Shaelynn Magalei, Tinei Su'a Jr., Tayden Su'a, Benjamin Magalei Jr. and Shadatee Su'a; his great grandchildren, Bella Magalei, Trey Mohetau, Mya Magalei, Kaimana Winger, Ana Fonokalafi and Sione Fonokalafi; and his siblings, Talatasi Tatupu, Alesi Magalei, Tufi Magalei, Losifafo Magalei, Taofiofi Magalei, Soonalote Smoody Tufele, Susana Magalei and Amani Magalei.
