He was predeceased by: his mother Patricia Ferry. He is survived by: his wife Dr. Kathryn Bond Ferry; his children, Drew and Maddie; his father Dr. John Ferry (Elaine); his siblings, Dr. Judith Ferry, Thomas Ferry, John Ferry and Dr. Patrick Ferry; and also Andrew Ireland.

“As I heard this news of Dr. Ferry passing I was truly very saddened. There are no words that can be said at a time like this. I have known him for over 20 years. It all started at Baylor and then later I worked for Heart Place in the nuclear department. So to you Kathryn and your children know that I am praying for you. He was a Great Guy. He always had nothing but kind words and Big Smile for me. He told some lame jokes but they made me smile. He will be missed. Garretta Saunders”
