He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife of 50 years, Carolyn Hopson; his daughters, Gayle Maples (John Maples), Kim Stafford and Monica Lewis (Larry Lewis); and his grandchildren, James Maples (Dawn), George Roger Owen (Amy Owen), Landon Stafford, Logan Stafford, Brittney Lewis and Sandra Wilson. He was also cherished by numerous great-grandchildren and many, many friends.
