She was predeceased by: her husband Lyle Edwin Burkmier (Ed); her son Wayne Edwin Burkmier; her parents, Corbin Frank Young and Mattie Powell Weems Young; and her sisters, Ester Weems Gildon and Orlean Weems Thomas.

She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Burkmier Weser (Alfred S. Weser) of Springtown and Susan Burkmier Wagner (Floyd R. Wagner) of Boyd; her grandchildren, Floyd R. Wagner Jr. (Brandy), Brandi Burkmier Ellard (Jessie), Alfred Matthew Weser, Brynn Anne Burkmier, Stephanie Weser Rodriguez (Jeremy), Brooke Kael Burkmier and Kari-Anne Wagner Starks (Jason); and her friends, Cathy Cartmill and Wanda McCurdy. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, and a lot of very special nieces and nephews.
